Naughton plant’ s infrastructure in place to transmit electricity to the grid. The region also provided access to water and to a highly skilled workforce that could be retrained to operate a nuclear power plant.
Although the future looked bright for Kemmerer, many challenges lay ahead. We will discuss those challenges in the final installation of“ Why Kemmerer, Wyoming Matters: Part 4.”
