Visitor Spotlight: The Baker-Butler Family
Long-time MoAF members and visitors to the Museum’ s New York galleries will likely remember being welcomed by Ruth Baker. In her retirement from a career as a school principal, Ruth volunteered at the Museum for more than a decade, until her passing in 2011. She was a beloved member of the Museum family and touched thousands of lives as an MoAF greeter and educator.
This October, members of Ruth’ s family visited the Museum’ s new headquarters in the Boston Seaport. Pictured here are Ruth’ s granddaughter, Bonnie Baker, with her husband, Brian Butler, and daughter Anna Baker-Butler, a senior at Boston University. The inset shows the Baker-Butler family on a Museum visit in New York City with Ruth on the far left, circa 2010.
If you would like to be profiled in our magazine or on our social media channels, please send a photo and caption from your visit to info @ moaf. org.
